01 / SCOPE

Who this policy covers

This policy describes the information CopyLab Research Group LLC may receive when you visit copylab.ai or contact our lab. We are located at 88 Benefit St, Unit B, Providence, RI 02904. Questions about this policy can be sent to lab@copylab.ai.

The site is designed to provide information about our work and a way to start a conversation. This policy does not describe a client’s own systems or a separate research project; where a project involves additional collection, we will explain the relevant arrangements for that engagement.

02 / INFORMATION

What we receive

If you email us, we receive the address you use, your message, and any details or attachments you choose to include. The inquiry form on this site prepares a message in your email application; it does not itself transmit the form to a CopyLab server. You decide whether to send the prepared message.

Your browser may communicate routine technical information, such as an IP address, requested page, and browser characteristics, to the site’s hosting provider in the course of delivering the website. Server and security logs may be created by that provider. Avoid including sensitive personal information or confidential business material in an initial inquiry.

03 / USE AND SHARING

Why information is used

We use inquiry information to respond, assess fit, discuss a possible engagement, and maintain relevant business records. Technical information may be used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site. We do not use the calculators to transmit your entries to us; calculations run in your browser.

Service providers that support hosting, email, security, or normal business operations may process information on our behalf or under their own terms as needed to provide their services. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell inquiry information.

04 / FONTS AND RETENTION

Outside requests and keeping records

This website requests typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser loads those files, it connects to Google and may disclose technical information such as your IP address to that service. Google’s own privacy practices apply to those requests. The website does not set its own analytics or advertising cookies.

We keep correspondence and business records for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including legitimate operational, contractual, and legal needs. Retention depends on the nature of the record. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

05 / YOUR CHOICES

Questions, correction, and updates

You may contact us to ask about information you have provided, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We will consider requests under applicable law and may need to verify your identity or retain information for a legitimate legal or business reason.

This site is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children. We may update this policy when our practices change; the date above identifies the latest published revision. If you have questions about a particular inquiry or engagement, contact the lab using the address above.
